Virginia Association of Area Agencies on Aging primary mission is to build the capacity of its members to help older persons to live with dignity and choices in their homes and communities for as long as possible, and to enhance elder rights.

SeniorNavigator, is a national model for aging and disability resources. By combining online assistance with a network of volunteers, SeniorNavigator brings over 21,000 health and aging resources to seniors, caregivers, adults with disabilities and their families. SeniorNavigator is a public/private partnership with the Commonwealth of Virginia, Virginia Department for the Aging, local governments, and hundreds of private sector partners.

Virginia Department for the Aging (VDA) works with 25 local Area Agencies on Aging (AAA's) as well as various other public and private organizations to help older Virginians, their families and loved ones find the services they need.
